Private Events

Our events philosophy is simple; we tailor experience to fit your story. Our storybook allows us the ability to dream for our guest. Imagine the sloping hillside. Tuscan architecture, fragrant wisteria, jasmine, and lavender and you. Malibu Wines is available year-around to host engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, landmark birthdays, wrap parties, wherever your imagination takes you. To eat, drink and live well is the credo of our savvy staff of Malibu insiders.

Home to Malibu Family Wines this venerable estate is an important part of old Malibu lore. Event options are listed below, please feel free to look them over!

RESERVATIONS
All spaces are reserved “as is” and table or chair set up is not customizable.

1) Large Picnic Table
$125 Reservation fee for rental of one large table during normal business hours.
Includes seating for a maximum of 10 people
3 Bottle Minimum Purchase

2) Gazebo Reservation
$375 Reservation fee for rental of entire tented area during normal business hours.
Reception Style Seating for a maximum of 35 people
6 Bottle Minimum Purchase

3) Upper Level Reservation
$425 Reservation fee for the upper level section during normal business hours. Reception Style Seating for a maximum of 75 people

SPECIAL EVENTS with WINE TASTING & TOURS
The Backyard rental will provide a customizable, banquet style event which ensures seating for every guest. The space can be custom designed for your specific event needs. Table, chair and linen rental will be provided for all attendees in addition to banquet tables for food or bar service. The following prices are available for a minimum of 15 people.

1) Special Event
$20.00 per person rental, set-up ans strike fee a maximum of 100 people
Reservation of our entire “Backyard” area, seating for all guests with table, chair and linen rental.

2) Special Event with Private Wine Tasting
$30.00 per person rental, set-up and strike fee for a maximum of 100 people
Private Wine Tasting of 5 of our Semler & Saddlerock Wines with souvenir logo glass
Reservation of our entire “Backyard” area, seating for all guests with table, chair, linen rental
18% gratuity automatically added for all private wine tastings.

3) Special Event with a Private Wine Tasting and Vineyard Tour:
$40.00 per person rental, set-up and strike fee for a maximum of 25 people (per tour group)
Private Wine Tasting of 5 of our Semler & Saddlerock Wines with souvenir logo glass
Private tour through the Vineyards at Saddlerock Ranch
Reservation of our entire “Backyard” area, seating for all guests with table, chair, linen rental
18% gratuity automatically added for all private wine tastings.

* Private Events After Hours: We are happy to accommodate events that extend prior to or past our regular business hours for a rate of $300.00 per hour in addition to the $20-$40 per person event charge stated above in the Special Event Section.

ADDITIONAL INFO FOR RESERVATIONS & SPECIAL EVENTS
Alcohol: The Malibu Wines Tasting Room proudly serves Semler and Saddlerock Wines. All bottle purchases will be in addition to prices quoted above. All alcohol enjoyed on property must be purchased through the Malibu Wines tasting room. Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed on property.

Food: All events held at Malibu Wines can be catered to meet your specific needs. We gladly allow groups to bring their own prepared food and picnics. Catering is available upon request with our preferred catering vendors. No outside catering companies are allowed on property.

Set Up: All tables and chairs for your event must be provided by Malibu Wines or by request from one of our preferred vendors.

Music: With respect to our other patrons and our live music performers, we kindly request that you do not bring in outside music or PA systems.

Minors: The Malibu Wines Tasting Room is a 21 and over facility at all times. All guests must be of legal drinking age at all times.
