Frequently Asked Questions

What is a minimum?

The minimum rental fee represents the required spend on wine and beer during your event. If your group doesn’t meet the minimum spend, the remaining balance can be redeemed as a gift card or applied toward bottles to take home.

How do I proceed with booking my event?

A $600 deposit is required to reserve the date and time. Please email our events team at events@malibuwines.com to complete payment. The $600 deposit goes towards your minimum spend.

What can I bring and what can't I bring?

We welcome the following at our venue:

  • Decorations (non-mylar balloons, table centerpieces, etc.)
  • Personal cakes or desserts (no storage available on-site)
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Catered food or outside snacks (excluding items requiring chafing dishes or crockpots)

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following are not permitted:

  • Children or babies (our tasting room is strictly 21+
  • Pet
  • Mylar balloons
  • Confetti
  • Chafing dishes or crockpots
  • Outside alcohol, including as gifts
  • Speakers or microphones

Do you offer live music?

Because we are located in a residential area, we do not offer live music at our venue. However, we do have curated music playing throughout our speakers to create the perfect ambiance for your event.

What is the cancellation policy?

FULL BACKYARD/BACKYARD/FRONT YARD SPACE
You must cancel 2 weeks in advance of your reservation to avoid any fees.
If cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of the reservation, your deposit will be forfeited.
You may reschedule free of charge.

PICNIC SPACE
You must cancel 1 week in advance of your reservation to avoid any fees.
If cancellation occurs within 1 week of the reservation, your deposit will be forfeited.
You may reschedule free of charge.

OUTDOOR YARD FULL BUYOUT
If cancellation occurs three weeks in advance, you will receive a
full refund. If cancellation occurs within three weeks of the reservation, your deposit will
be forfeited. You may reschedule free of charge.

Do you have food on-site?

Yes! Nuvola Pizza is onsite to serve wood-fired pizza:

  • Fridays: After 3:00 PM
  • Saturdays & Sundays: All day

Can I bring my own catering?

Yes, we welcome guests to bring in their own food or catering. If you plan to have a third-party catering company deliver or serve food at your event, please let us know in advance. Additionally, on-site catering vendors are required to provide a certificate of insurance.

What about parking?

We offer pre-paid valet parking for your guests:

$10 per car (cash)
$12 per car (credit card)

Valet is available onsite Fridays through Sundays.

For Full Backyard Events: Pre-pay valet is required for events on Monday through Thursday.

Do you offer special add-ons for my event?

Yes! We offer beautifully crafted Graze in the Garden Charcuterie Boards as an add-on for your event:

Small: $150 (serves 4-6 guests, 14” x 10”)
Medium: $225 (serves 8-12 guests, 16” x 11.5”)
Large: $350 (serves 15-20 guests, 19” x 14”)
Please Note: Orders cannot be adjusted or canceled within 7 days prior to your reservation.
